Etodolac is chemically [(1RS)-1,8-Diethyl-1,3,4,9-tetrahydropyrano[3,4-b]indol-1-yl]acetic acid (as per EP); (±)-1,8-Diethyl-1,3,4,9-tetrahydropyrano [3,4-b]indole-1-acetic acid (as per USP). It is also known as (RS)-Etodolic acid. Etodolac is supplied with detailed characterization data compliant with regulatory guideline.
