Daunorubicin EP Impurity B is chemically (8S,10S)-10-[(3-Amino-2,3,6-trideoxy-α-L-lyxo-hexopyranosyl)oxy]-6,8,11-trihydroxy-8-[(1RS)-1-hydroxyethyl]-1-methoxy-7,8,9,10-tetrahydrotetracene-5,12-dione (as per EP). It is also known as (13RS)-Daunorubicinol (EP). Daunorubicin EP Impurity B is supplied with detailed characterization data compliant with regulatory guideline. Daunorubicin EP Impurity B can be used for the analytical method development, method validation (AMV), Quality Controlled (QC) application for Abbreviated New Drug Application (ANDA) or during commercial production of Daunorubicin.
