Citalopram EP Impurity B is chemically 1-[3-(Dimethylamino)propyl]-1-(4-fluorophenyl)-3-hydroxy-1,3-dihydroisobenzofuran-5-carbonitrile (as per EP) ; 1-(3-Dimethylaminopropyl)-1-(4-fluorophenyl)-3-hydroxy-1,3-dihydroisobenzofuran-5-carbonitrile (as per USP). It is also known as Citalopram USP Related Compound B ; 3-Hydroxy Citalopram. Citalopram EP Impurity B is supplied with detailed characterization data compliant with regulatory guideline.
