Prasugrel EP Impurity F is chemically Mixture of (7aR)-5-[(1RS)-2-cyclopropyl-1-(2-fluorophenyl)-2-oxoethyl]-7a-hydroxy-5,6,7,7a-tetrahydrothieno[3,2-c]pyridin-2(4H)-one and (7aS)-5-[(1RS)-2-cyclopropyl-1-(2-fluorophenyl)-2-oxoethyl]-7a-hydroxy-5,6,7,7a-tetrahydrothieno[3,2-c]pyridin-2(4H)-one 2,2,2-trifluoroacetate (as per EP) ; 5-[2-Cyclopropyl-1-(2-fluorophenyl)-2-oxoethyl]-7a-hydroxy-5,6,7,7a-tetrahydrothieno[3,2-c]pyridin-2(4H)-one 2,2,2-trifluoroacetate (as per USP). It is also known as Desacetyl hydroxyprasugrel (USP) ; Prasugrel Hydroxy Thiolactone. Prasugrel EP Impurity F is supplied with detailed characterization data compliant with regulatory guideline.
