Methotrexate EP Impurity C is chemically (2S)-2-[[4-[[(2-amino-4-oxo-1,4-dihydropteridin-6-yl)methyl]methylamino]benzoyl]amino]pentanedioic acid (as per EP) ; (S)-2-(4-{[(2-amino-4-oxo-1,4-dihydropteridin-6-yl)methyl](methyl)amino}benzamido) pentanedioic acid (as per USP). It is also known as Methotrexate USP Related Compound C ; (N-methylfolic acid, methopterin (EP)). Methotrexate EP Impurity C is supplied with detailed characterization data compliant with regulatory guideline.
